RELIEF VALAVE-- • Watts series 374A (R54-684 ) and 174A ( R54-685 , R54-686 , R55-839 and R55-840 ) are designed and recommended for hot water heating and supply boilers • Watts series 740 ( R54-687 and R54-688 ) valves are specially designed for hot water space heating boilers Features: • ASME certified • Pressure pre-set @ 30 PSI* • Maximum temperature: 250°F (121°C) • Meets military spec. MIL-V-18634B, Type I, Class 3A, Style A (bronze body), Style B (iron body) • Seat located above drain so water cannot be trapped and sediment cannot foul the seat • Used in conjunction with temperature relief valves where separate installation of safety devices is required or desired R54-684 is only available set at 30 PSI.
